1.
Use a pencil and a square to measure and mark your tiles

Set the tile down onto a sturdy surface and reposition the square.

Snap the tile over a wire hanger.

Smooth the edges of the tile with a brick, if needed.
Can I cut tile with a circular saw?
If
you absolutely need to use a circular saw to cut your porcelain tile,
you will need: A diamond masonry blade specifically indicated for
porcelain that is the proper size for your circular saw; in other words,
a tile cutting blade for circular saw.
How do I keep my tile from chipping when I cut it?
Place
the tile on the saw's platform. If the blade lowers, the top of the
tile should face up. If the saw blade is in the platform which cuts
tiles from the bottom, the tile should be face down. Engage the saw
blade, and push the tile through the blade to make a shallow cut across
the tile.
How do you polish tiles naturally?
It
smells good and cleans well. Remove a stain with baking soda. Try
mopping your tile floor using this DIY cleaning recipe: ¼ cup white
vinegar, 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap, ¼ cup baking soda, and 2 gallons
of very warm water. You can also add a few drops of lavender essential
oil for a fresh scent!
